On the evening of Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., I attended the Mid-Autumn Festival celebration hosted by the Federation of Chinese Associations of New Zealand, at the invitation of its president, Mr. Steven Wong (Huang Weizhang 黄玮璋 NZ (Cantonese) citizen for over half century). The event was graced by the presence of the Chinese Ambassador to New Zealand, Mr. Wang Xiaolong—who traveled from the capital, Wellington, to join the festivities—as well as numerous current and former Members of the New Zealand Parliament, former mayors, and a wide array of leaders and representatives from the political, business, and community sectors.
